Our first book will be read as a whole class so students understand the assignments and expectations. I'm on the search for a class set of books so we can accomplish this goal.

Book Clubs
Soon, we will begin book clubs. This is when students work in groups to read a selected chapter book and respond in writing to what they read. This is a great tool for teaching students to THINK WHILE THEY READ.
