Nonfiction Challenge 3/1-3/8

Choose a site that interests you from the list below.  Choose an article to read.  BUT... Read the posts first.

You MAY read the same article as another classmate but you MAY NOT write the same comments.  

IF FOR SOME REASON YOU CANNOT DO THE POST ONLINE, WRITE YOUR WORK ON A SHEET OF PAPER AND TURN IT IN FOR CREDIT.


Once you've read the article, post a comment about the article you read in the comment box below.
Include the following:

2. Title of the article
3. List three facts you learned from reading the article
4. Tell how this article relates to you.  What connection does it have with you?

    3.the chocolate show took place in november.chefs hand out samples of thier chocolate.Chef Scott Green's job is a chocolate sculpter his hardest thing to sculpt was a castle made out of white chocolate.
    4.this article relates to me because i like to sculpt with clay and playdough (i have never thought about sculpting with chocolate... until now!) :D

    I learned that if you enter a cave full of bat with a head light you can see beetles crawling up your leg!
    I learned that there are many different kinds of bats.
    I learned that bats help human.
    This article relates to me because I relish animals.

    3.Suraj Sharma starred in the thrilling movie ''Life of Pi''.Fimling took 10 months in Taiwian.In the movie ,Pi takes in the wonders of the bioluminescence.(Hint Hint: if you saw the movie or if you didn't ,that is the scence when an indigo whale jumps out of the water!)
    4.This article relates to me because I saw the half chick flick movie and I thought it was amazing.The movie is a must see !

    3.i learned in order to make all these bottles, manufacturers use 17 million barrels of crude oil.I learned that there is also growing concern that chemicals in the bottles themselves may leach into the water.I learned bottles end up as trash on the land and in rivers, lakes.

    3. The film takes moviegoers back to a time before the arrival of Dorothy. There we meet the wizard before he became the leader of a land known for its yellow brick road.Oz is based on the 100-year-old works of author L. Frank Baum.
    4.this relates to me because i love the wizard of oz.

    3. I have learned that the fairytale "Jack and the Beanstalk" has been made into a film and actor Nicholas Hoult plays the main character Jack. The new movie is called "Jack the Giant Slayer" and the giants in the movie were brought to life using film devices called motion capture and CGI. Although the movie is based on the fairytale, "Jack the Giant Slayer" is different because there are many giants who each have their own personalities, rather than just one.

    4.The article relates to me because my parents used to read me the fairytale "Jack and the Beanstalk" when I was little and I enjoy the story. I am excited to see the movie and compare it to the story.

    3. I did not know the human heart isn't the typical shape of a valintine heart. Nor did I know that the heart pumps 100,000 times in 1 day. Another iteresting fact is that the heart "pumps iorn".

    4.this relates to me because Selena Gomez inspired me to become a singer and an actress just like Lane Burton inspired Franco
