Nonfiction Challenge 3/29-4/5

You MAY read the same article as another classmate but you MAY NOT write the same comments.  

IF FOR SOME REASON YOU CANNOT DO THE POST ONLINE, WRITE YOUR WORK ON A SHEET OF PAPER AND TURN IT IN FOR CREDIT.

    3. Nickelodeon rolled out the orange carpet for the 2013 Kids’ Choice Awards (KCAs) in Los Angeles, California. Kids pick the winners by voting for their favorite stars online. Winners receive orange blimps and, sometimes, a splattering of green slime.
    4.this relates to me because i always wanted do be showered in slime and because i always wanted to be at the kids choice awards.

    3. Alyson Stoner plays Isabella on Disney's Phineas and Ferb. Nickelodeon's Victorious took home Favorite TV Show for the second year in a row. Neil Patrick Harris and Sandra Bullock did some "magic" onstage as they presented the Favorite Movie Actress award to Kristen Stewart.

    3. In this article, I have learned that the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show is a dog show for thousands of dogs and their owners to compete in New York City. I have learned that different dogs show off different tricks in these competitions like jumping through hoops and running through tunnels. Also, the dogs are judged on how long they take to finish the obstacle courses and they get ribbons and titles after they compete!

    4. The story relates to me because I love dogs and I think that dog competitions are cool. It is like the dog olympics and they get to do awesome tricks!

    3.i learned food stylists and photographers use many tricks to make food look delicious for advertisements and cookbooks. i learned the steam was created by heating a wet cotton ball in a microwave oven and hiding it behind the potato. i learned chicken is only partly cooked. Otherwise its skin would get wrinkly and burned.
    4. i buy cook books well my mom does
